Description
Start at Palmer Creek Trailhead, taking it down to Pretty Hollow Gap Trail, then along Balsam Mountain Trail, stopping the first night a Laurel Gap Shelter. Next, take Balsam Mountain Trail, to the AT to Cosby Knob Shelter. For Third Day, take Low Gap Trail, to Big Creek Trail, to Camel Gap Trail, and then up Gunter Fork Trail. Spend 3rd night back at Laurel Gap Shelter, exiting via Balsam Mountain Trail, with a short road walk back to Palmer Creek Trailhead.
