Description
This hike follows the well-known Charleston Peak Trail North Loop up to the Raintree. At this point, turn right towards Mummy Springs rather than continue up the North Loop. The trail follows the contours past Mummy Springs before turning back up some switchbacks. After a while, the trail becomes loose and very steep dirt before arriving at a rock wall. The best route from there goes along a flat-ish area beneath a wall until there is an opportunity to turn right up a pine needle-strewn gully to join a trail. This can be followed up to the peak of Mummy's Toe where great views all around can be found.
