Description
Rocky, moderately graded trail that connects Palmer Trail with the trails on the Red Rocks hogsback. From this trail, you can proceed across the rest of the hogsback and descend west into Red Rocks Park or East into one of the parking areas along 26th or 31st streets. Mountain bikes are more common than hikers on this trail so be aware. Getting there: From the Palmer/Section 16 Parking, proceed uphill 600m and take the 2nd turn on the right; this leads you uphill (if you find yourself going downhill directly after the turn, you are returning to the parking lot). If you encounter a left turn, stay straight until you end at the Landfill Rd; the left turns lead to the Meadows Trail and the Red Rock Canyon Overlook Trail.
