Meyer Preserve Full Perimeter

Start at the end of Oregon Road. The trail continues past the gate that closes off old Oregon Road. The Yellow Trail is about 100 feet down the old roadway on the right. It can be overgrown in the spring and summer. it is easier to find in the winter due to snow tracks. Take the Lower Yellow Trail first and and follow it around until it intersects with Orange Trail - South. Turn right onto Orange Trail - South until it intersects with the Blue Trail. Bear right and follow the Blue Trail a short distance until it intersects with the Red Trail. Turn left onto the Red Trail and follow it until it intersects with the Blue Trail. Turn right and climb up the Blue Trail to the cliff view over the lake and continue to the end where the Blue Trail and Red Trail join up. Take the Red Trail down a short distance until it intersects with the Green Trail markers. Turn right on onto Green Trail a short distance until it intersects with Orange Trail - North. Turn left and follow the Orange Trail straight south to the bridge back over the ravine stream back up the Upper Yellow Trail. This takes you back out to old Oregon Rd. Take a right when you exit the Yellow Trail at Old Oregon Rd and head downhill. You'll pass meadows toward the bottom of the hill to your right. This is the Trump Seven Springs Estate. Don't head up the road (as you'll notice that the gate says no trespassing). Instead, continue on Old Oregon to Upper Meyer Preserve (the western portion). Follow the trail over stone walls and through the woods uphill to the top of the Meadow Trail. Take the meadow trail down for about a half mile paralleling Sarles Street. At the bottom, the trail joins up with Old Oregon Rd again. Climb that hill back to where you crossed the stone wall then head back up Old Oregon to the parking lot, making for a nice 5-mile hike with some hearty hills!
