Point to Point
This 10-foot wide paved hike and bike trail offers cycling, hiking, jogging and wildlife viewing opportunities through the forest on the south (Harris County) side of Spring Creek. Currently 14.6 miles and still growing, it's easy to forget that you are in the city as you hike, bike, paddle, or ride through the parts of the Piney Woods or alongside natural sloughs and white sand beaches. Trailheads are located at Highway 59, Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center, Carter Park, Pundt Park, and Dennis Johnston Park.
Additional natural surface trails on both sides of Spring Creek can offer additional opportunities for nature viewing, dedicated equestrian trails, mountain biking and more.
To use one of the Harris County Parks launches to paddle Spring Creek, you must make online reservations.
