It's hard to find hiking paths in Central PA that aren't extremely rocky. This trail is soft underfoot and completely shaded by trees in the late spring and summer. There's a main creek with a few smaller runs. The trail that's mapped is the main loop but there are other detours and opportunities for exploring in Speedwell Forge County Park.
