Swamp Creek

Swamp Creek is usually used along with Trap Creek to make a loop passing Marten Lake. Swamp Creek trail from the junction with Trap Creek starts with a short climb over the ridge before descending to Swamp Creek. Once in the Swamp Creek drainage, the trail is very moderate passing through lots of meadows and boggy areas. There are some creek crossings along the way to get your feet a little wet. Once at the end of the trail, take your time navigating the maze of roads around the unofficial camping area.
