Access Issues
No permits or fees are required for day hiking or backpacking. No permit required for tent camping; cabin reservations must be made in advance at recreation.gov. A vehicle shuttle is required. Parking is free at both the north and south trailheads. The trail is open to hikers, mountain bikers, packstock, and seasonally to snowmobiles.

Description
This point-to-point route begins at the Resurrection Pass South Trailhead near Cooper Landing and ends at the North Trailhead near Hope. From the south trailhead, follow the trail north as it climbs gently through spruce and birch forests along the Kenai River valley. Around 7.5 miles, continue straight, passing the Trout Lake Cabin Trail on the left. Around 9.1 miles, reach Romig Cabin on the south end of Juneau lake. Continue past Juneau Lake Cabin on the right, around 9.6 miles. Reach the Swan Lake junction at 12.4 miles, staying right to continue climbing toward the alpine zone. At 16.7 miles, reach the junction with Devil's Creek Trail on the right. Stay left to continue north on Resurrection Pass Trail, climbing the remaining distance to the summit of Resurrection Pass at 18.9 miles. From the pass, begin a long, gradual descent into the Resurrection Creek drainage. Pass the East Creek trail junction on the left, around 23.7 miles, continuing straight. Descend below the treeline, passing Fox Creek at 26.4 miles and Caribou Creek at 30.9 miles. Follow the western bank of Resurrection Creek north for the final miles to the North Trailhead.

6-2 hope to fox creek cabin. Good mostly dry trail . A couple downed trees that are easy to get around. 6-3 fox creek to devils pass cabin. Good for 6 of the 9 miles . Ahold have brought snow Shoes but post holed . Not horrible but a strong bad rating.. light navigational skills helpful due to snow covering trial .. 6-4 devils to romig cabin 1 snow crossing . Not bad . Some trees down. 6/5 romig to cooper landing . Muddy in spots .
