Description
Follow the yellow Squam Lakes diamonds. Parking is limited on Squam Lake Road. The trail climbs over steep rocky terrain with a few switchbacks. It reaches a sign just below the cliffs; left continues through a chimney, right takes a more moderate approach. These branches meet back above the rocky chimney and continue climbing over some open rocky tops. It takes a right turn and passes a view on the left. It passes Teedie Trail (on the right), and continues nearly 2 miles to the summit. Use caution if you plan to ascend the firetower.
