Lower Bridle Path

Follow the green diamonds. This trail starts off the east end of Shannon Pond, at the junction of Pond Trail and Shannon Brook Trail. The trail begins its climb after passing the kiosk and entering the woods. The trail follows an old road grade, then turns off the road grade and weaves its way through the woods. The trail crosses by the intersection of the Oak Ridge Trail and climbs a bit more to the viewpoint spur. Lower Bridle Path ends at Faraway Mountain Trail. For Upper Bridle Path, take a left onto Faraway Mountain Trail for a short distance, then turn right.
