I think the river connects to the Canton, GA Water and Sewage System. Just be advised.
Path Type
Loop
The Green Trail is an easy-to-moderate singletrack loop, 1.9 miles, through mixed pine and hardwood forests with great views of the river from the ridgeline. Direct access can be made at the Hightower Church Trailhead or by connecting via the Boling Park Trailhead on the WHITE Trail.
As you traverse WHITE from Boiling Park, approximately 1.7 miles, the trail will take a hard left down across Bridge #7/8 and up the ridge, where you'll come to the intersection with GREEN. To the left, the GREEN Trail has well-marked blazes and will loop back to the Hightower Church Trailhead. You can pick up WHITE/GREEN taking you back where you got on GREEN getting you back to Boling Park.
Clockwise on Green about 1.4 miles or counterclockwise 0.6 miles, you'll intersect an unmarked trail dubbed RIVER BOTTOM ROAD. This historic roadbed, is an easy point-to-point 1.8 miles that intersects with WHITE. Left will take you back to the Hightower Church and right will take you back to Boling Park Trailhead.
