Jenny's Canyon

This is a quick fun adventure that takes you to a small slot canyon! You can't see the slot canyon entrance from the road since the slot canyon is hidden behind a rock wall. This would be a great adventure for children since it's short and they would love the tall sandstone walls and narrow canyon! The trail is easy to see and follow and you will hike about 0.20 mile to Jenny's Canyon. You will cross over a small dry wash and then hike up a little ways until you see the canyon on your left. The canyon goes back a couple hundred feet and ends. It's crazy how the temperature changes from hot to cool in a matter of seconds! This is a neat place to explore and you can even get a nice view of Snow Canyon from the overlook. The overlook just takes you to a point next to the canyon entrance where you can see the Sand Dunes and also some of the desert landscapes! This is the first hike that you come to if you are entering the state park from the southern entrance. If this is your first visit to the park, I would suggest doing this first to get a feel for what this amazing park is like!
