Hermit Placer Trail

Hermit Placer Trail begins on the east side of Pine Street at the Hinterthal Townhomes driveway. There is a Town of Breckenridge post trail marker. The trail climbs steeply at first, then levels off to a more reasonable grade before coming to a flume. The trail continues along the flume passing the Bonanza Trail on the right, the Moonstone Trail on the left and the Carter Park Switchbacks on the right. Continue south along the flume to Jack's Cruel Joke, and the end of the Hermit Placer Trail. Immediately west of Pine Street at the start of the Hermit Placer Trail is a short connector trail to High Street.
