A large, wind-swept lake with dark water. The many offshore bars hold most game and panfish. The bluegill and crappie are prime targets.

Some of the largest pike in the area are taken here, in addition to large crappie and bluegill. Decent walleye.

Fluorescent-colored jigs are the rule on North Center. This is a good spring/fall walleye lake. The numbers and average size of bass are excellent.
