Q48

Quincy Trail 48 winds through a densely forested area of the Quincy Sector of the AOT. Along the way are numerous ruts of varying depths, some very deep and muddy. There are several minor mud holes, and one that poses a very significant obstacle, particularly in wet seasons. The mud hole obstacle is in a curve in the route, and also a small hill. The depth of this obstacle can easily be 12 to 18 inches, and the mud is thick clay. Towards the Q2 trailhead, the path is narrow and slightly off-camber, with some significant erosion and ruts.
