KC21 - Sugar Camp Road

Kelly's Creek Trail 21 is a nearly 1.5-mile-long (each way) out-and-back adventure beginning at KC4 and dropping in elevation from start to finish. The majority of the trail is a shelf road of varying width, with the section nearest KC4 being steep, rutted, and washed, as well as one of the narrowest areas. At the base of the first hill, the track levels off and traverses a wide shelf before curving and descending to a near switchback turn with a washout. The washout can be navigated carefully by any vehicle. Beyond this section, the trail remains relatively wide as it continues to descend to a creek bed where it becomes overgrown and ends.
