Trail Overview

IB 99 is a short but highly technical trail that drops into a narrow ravine from Trail 50. The route is filled with loose rocks, giant boulders, and mud, made slick by a small stream running through it. Long, 30-foot slickrock ramps--coated in water and moss--create a waterslide-like surface that's extremely slippery. Logs are down throughout, and trees line the ravine, narrowing the path further. The trail climbs a series of brutal waterfall ledges, including a couple of blunt shelves nearly 5 feet tall. You'll go up the obstacles in the northbound direction. This route is best suited for expert drivers due to its extreme terrain and continuous obstacles.
