Trail Overview

IB 79 is a 220-yard trail running through a narrow streambed ravine with about an inch of water covering slick rock layers. The trail is surrounded by mossy boulders and hillsides at the base of the slopes, with loose large rocks, logs, and narrow gaps between boulders and trees. While there are no giant shelves in this ravine, the trail remains intermediate in difficulty, requiring careful navigation through slick and narrow sections, especially when wet.
