This trail begins with a steep, rutted climb from the north end, with loose rock, tight switchbacks, and a sustained grade that makes the ascent challenging. After reaching a high point, the trail begins a more gradual descent, though the terrain remains uneven with embedded rock, loose rock, and small natural drop-offs. It provides access to the advanced trail 82 before continuing its descent to intersect with trail 48.
