Trail Overview

IB 54 is a short quarter-mile spur off of IB 13 that begins with a brief section of old pavement before transitioning to a wide, uneven dirt path. The trail is mostly smooth with some minor ruts, mud puddles, and occasional small embedded or loose rocks. It runs through lush forest with dense undergrowth and scenic moss-covered rock walls lining the hillsides. The tree canopy is thick, adding to the enclosed, green feel of the route. With its gradual grade and minimal obstacles, this is an easy trail suitable for most vehicles, offering a peaceful detour through beautiful terrain.
