IB 163 is a dirt bike trail with a wide path that climbs steeply and continuously, ending at single-track IB 132. The surface is slick with leaf decay, sticks, and ruts, and the trail ascends a hillside covered in loose rocks and tight switchbacks. Embedded rock layers and exposed tree roots form steep shelf obstacles, making this an intermediate trail that demands consistent focus and throttle control. Although only a quarter mile long, the climb is relentless from south to north.
