Trail Overview

BM 24 is an easy access route with wide, gradual switchbacks and smooth tread, offering comfortable two-way travel and good visibility throughout. The surface is mostly free of obstacles, with only shallow ruts and minimal rock, though the dirt can become very slick when wet. While the grades are mostly gradual, a few steeper sections remain manageable due to the lack of technical features. The trail follows a shelfy path along hillside edges, narrowing slightly in places, and descends to the pavement at its intersection with BM 25 under the powerlines on Highway 52.
