Trail Overview

B71 is a highly advanced 0.8-mile trail that follows a narrow, rocky ravine, descending from west to east. The entrance at the top is washed out, and the entire route descends through a wet ravine lined with slick, mossy boulders, off-camber sections, and scattered logs. Some downed trees partially block the path, and large gaps between the rocks require careful tire placement. The trail is tarped in places, creating extremely slippery conditions. There are long slab rock layers that act like a wet, slimy waterslide. There are big drop-offs that will be particularly challenging when going uphill in the opposite direction. Obstacles are constant, and the difficulty remains high throughout the entire ravine.
