The trail is smooth with no major obstacles but includes spots with more rock, ruts, and steeper sections. The surface consists of black coal dirt, where the smell of coal is noticeable. The trail features waterbars, wide sections, and gradual switchbacks climbing up to the ridge with embedded flat rock slabs. Overall, it is an easy trail suitable for most drivers.
