US FSR 74

Easy, well maintained gravel road with a good amount of camp sites along. A couple occupied but at least 3 that I passed were empty and I only went halfway up the road before stopping at my site. Arrived around 5:30pm on a Wednesday. Good spot to disperse camp. The site I stayed at,however, had lots of trash and “lingering” human/dog waste. Please keep nature clean and pack out trash and bury or burn human waste/pick up after your animals especially on a set campsite. Don’t ruin it for others.

Used the trail to find dispersed camping, saw 4-5 sites along the road, 2 were occupied on a Wednesday. Camped at end of road trail ends with gate before hiking trail. There were a lot of mosquitos at the camp site in the evening.

basically a normal dirt road. wide enough for 2 cars and plenty of dispersed campsites along both sides of the road. we stayed at the site at the dead-end right before the hiking trail which had a few bumps but nothing a normal AWD can’t handle. open may 1st to october 31st.
