Trail Overview

This trail has about a 1-2 mile stretch of shallow and short-spaced whoops as you go up in elevation, but also has a few taller hills to give you a bit more of a challenge. Both hills can be bypassed if needed. Going north on the first hill descent, you may find the road blocked by a seriously large amount of tumbleweeds depending on the time of year. You can go back down the hill you went up, turn right, and keep turning right around the hill to get back to this trail and onto the next hill. Going over the second hill, stay left on the uphill if you are newer to technical climbing, or try your skills on the steep climb on the right. If you do not have a high lift, there are some taller drops on the descent.

When you come up to the the first up hill part of the trail it definitely gets difficult. If you don’t have lockers and high clearance stay to the right. When you get to the top the trail on your right is very tippy as in potential roll over. You can go to the left, there are some drop offs but if you made it up you can go down that without the tip risk

We traveled south to north in my jeep wrangler with a 35" tires. The trail was slightly muddy in places with the occasional patch of snow. we had to go around one of the hill climbs due to the base of the north side being impassable due to a chest high wall of tumble weeds that went about 30 feet and completely covered the trail.
