Trail Overview
Trail 2 is a rutted, narrow Jeep trail near Blanding, Utah, that goes between pinyon pines and sagebrush with views toward the Abajo Mountains. It's a fun trail to explore in the fall and spring when it's not too hot or cold while connecting to many of the other trails in the area. This is a good place for hunting, exploring on OHVs, or backcountry camping. The trail is overall pretty easy, with features such as big dips across the trail for wash crossings where you'll want high clearance. It's hard-packed dirt with flat slab rock in a few sections. It's pretty narrow through the pinyon pine trees with easy corners. It has a couple of tougher sections with loose rocks, slab rock, and uneven ruts. At one point, it crosses County Road 240, which is a major dirt road--look for oncoming traffic.
Difficulty
