Spring Canyon Trail

Rocky, narrow trail with some big rocks that need to be carefully navigated. Took my stock ranger raptor on this and scraped once. 4 wheel high with rear locker worked fine but would recommend something with more clearance.

Definitely a trail for higher clearance 4x4. I’m in a gladiator rubicon 3in lift and 37” ko2’s. I didn’t drag or touch anything. Pretty good water holes in some spots of trail today. There are spots where there are tight turns between trees with some pretty large rocks that you must navigate. Didn’t engage my lockers at all, but there were 2 spots I did engage 4l. It was a rough rocky ride the whole north end. Full size vehicles would not enjoy there time out here. Beautiful lakes with some tighter spots than the trail. This trail will take longer than you expect it to, it’s a real slow ride.

The still photo included does not do this trail justice. I was in 4 Lo, locked the rear diff a few times. Slow moving over big rocks and had to pick lines efficiently. Passable in high clearance 4x4 only IMO. My Stock ‘19 ZR2 Colorado is about as little clearance as I’d want to have. Touched undercarriage once. I have 9”, but this is a true off road trail for real 4x4’s.

Boulders, boulders boulders.. this is a VERY rocky drive.
