Trail Overview

This track connects Ridge Trail to Lame Horse near the Alpine Loop Summit Parking Lot. Starting from Ridge, this wooded trail has great flow when traveling downhill. There are a few root sections mixed in, but you don't notice them traveling downhill away from Ridge trail. There are 2 road crossings on this track, so beware of cars. The trail gets tighter with plant overgrowth as you move toward the Alpine Loop Summit Parking Lot.

Starts out dry. Getting closer to tibble fork, mud and running water becomes present intermittently with a few minor water crossings . Just before or right after (I don't remember) the Mud Springs Tibble fork junction there is a large fallen tree. The rest of Tinble is pretty wet but options to go around water and mud. The exit of 041is a running stream but shallow enough to easily navigate and crossable all the way to the bridge.
