Trail Overview

Scarecrow Peak Road makes its way North around Scarecrow Peak where it turns to the East and descends through a small canyon towards Jackson Wash. The road passes through a creek in the wash and continues to head East where it dead ends into Jackson Wash road. Scenic desert views can be had along this route. Ensure you have plenty of water for the trip, as the temperature hit triple digits during the Summer months.

Difficulty

During the Spring season, the creek flooded and washed the road out. We had to make our way further down the wash to find a shallow place to cross. Definitely pay attention to the weather prior to embarking on your trip.
