Trail Overview
This trail is very steep in the beginning with large rocks to climb over. The rest of the trail is more forgiving in dry conditions. You will see some elk, turkeys, deer, and other small animals along the way. Early morning and late evening are best for seeing elk and deer. It is one of the most colorful and scenic routes in the area.

Difficulty
This trail requires some technical skillsets for the first part. Then it is a nice ride. Both sides of the road are private land for the most part, however, the roads are open to use. Do not use unnumbered roads as they are on private land. During the spring, many of the little ponds are full of water.
