Trail Overview

Pinnacle 1 is a challenging but scenic trail made by the King Crawlers Club in Price. The trail takes you almost 5 miles in or next to a large dry wash before popping back out on a well-maintained gravel road to complete the loop back to the starting point. Pinnacle 1 features rock canyon walls, mud holes, and rock obstacles that can challenge even more experienced drivers. All though full-size vehicles will fit, this canyon is tight in some places so be aware that body damage is possible. Both of the tightest spots have a bypass but there are no real escape routes. There is enough room to turn around if need be. This trail is great for bigger SXSs or high-clearance Jeeps or crawlers. Bigger tires are recommended. As this trail is in a wash bed, be aware that it can change from time to time based on flooding. Check the weather before heading in as you do not want to be on the trail if floods are possible. *Total Time may be longer in full-size rigs.

Difficulty

Because this trail is in a wash that experiences occasional floods, you may find larger holes around some of the boulders. There are a handful of steep crossings in and out of the wash bed.
