Trail Overview

The Paiute ATV Trail is a massive trail system with over 2,000 miles to explore. The trails are mainly in the Tushar and Pahvant Mountains. There are so many trails and ways to reach them that it is pointless to set out completely specific rides. There are 3 types of trail. Open to all vehicles, 50" or less and 60" or less. Please obey all of these rules so the trails can remain open for all.Could be impassable with snow during winter.

I only road from Marysville to the junction that goes to Silver Ling mine. It open for that loop no problem. It’s a fairly easy dirt road with steel switchbacks. There is a lot of exposure as ride through the spooky burn scar but the ride it self is an easy claim on a dirt bike. This combined with deer creek makes a great loop.

Gate closed on the north side. Talked to the ranger station and still has several snow drifts that are impossible. No estimate on when it may open.

Sadly, trail was gated closed about 2 miles past the split to Silver Creek Mine. Assuming that it may be a snow closure as we were just shy of 10k feet and seeing snow fields ahead of us in the Tushars.

In accordance with Order Number: 0408-24-05 the U.S. Forest Service Fishlake National Forest Beaver Ranger District has updated the road closures for the area impacted by the Silver King Fire. All road and trails within the mapped boundary are closed through December 31st 2024 unless rescinded. This includes featured and non-featured roads and trails.
