Trail Overview

Dead Cow Point Road runs along the Lakepoint mountains, providing access to multiple canyons and mountain passes. Keep an eye out for livestock, as there were a lot of cattle hanging out near the road. This trail is a mix of dirt and gravel, and does not have any major ruts or obstacles. The surface could become slick with enough rain.

This is a graded dirt and gravel road that is one to two vehicles wide. It may not be maintained and could become slick depending on the weather.

There really isn’t anything challenging or technical about the trail. It was recently graded from what I could tell but the trail description is right about it potentially being very muddy. There were some ruts in some spots and it is a very dusty trail.
