Trail Overview

This is 6 miles of easy trail through the BLM land that starts on the Green River Cutoff Road, goes south to access Odds Trail, and keeps going southeast to access another technical single track. This trail is a mix of dirt single track, flat slickrock slab, and sand wash. Part of it is a shelfy side hill around the edge of a mesa, and part of it is a flat wide trail through easy desert terrain. It has big whoops, sudden dips, and sections with more loose rocks. Lots of it is a fast sandy wash. It makes for a good bail-out from Odds Trail to head back to the main dirt road, or a good way to access Odds.

Access Description

The Chimney Rock/Woodside trail system is mostly made up of difficult rocky singletracks, plus a couple easier ATV trails, and lots of Jeep roads to explore. From Highway 6, turn west onto the Green River Cutoff Road, and follow the road for about 3 miles until the staging area. There are great dispersed campsites along the Green River Cutoff Road for several miles.
