Lawson's Ledge

Lawson's Ledge is a half-mile-long single-track trail within the Sovereign Single Track System that has one intermediate rock ledge obstacle and is also an exit to the road. Going north from the 3-way intersection with Sovereign and Link 4, the trail goes up one series of rock ledge steps that are not too difficult because the obstacle is pretty wide with multiple lines to choose from, but it could still be challenging for the less advanced rider. Going down the obstacle would also be easier. It goes up the white slab of slickrock, and you can see the signpost at the top of the steps. The rest of the trail is pretty flat and easy on a mix of dirt and slickrock. Follow the signs on top of the slickrock to the next marker. At the end of the trail, you can get on the D3569 Road, which connects to Dalton Wells Road or Salt Wash Road and can be taken back to the popular staging areas.
