Trail Overview
This short little trail is steep and rugged, wide enough for full-size SXSs, but totally worth the detour because it ends at an amazing overlook point where you see the valley off in the distance and a beautiful waterfall running down the canyon. There is a hiking trail that will go down closer to the falls or perhaps to the bottom of the falls. There is an old cabin here, which sits at 9393 feet, and I can just imagine stepping out the front door of that cabin in the 1800s or early 1900s and having that amazing view. There is very little room on the trail to meet another car, so somebody will have to back up if you meet someone. There is a turn-around and parking area at the cabin. We rode this trail in the first few days of summer, late June, and it was dry. Much earlier, if there was a lot snow, it will be muddy or maybe impassable. If you love history, or waterfalls, or amazing views, this trail is for you. In February of 2023, Utah began enforcement of a new law, which requires an online education course for all off-roaders. The free course is available online. Google "Utah OHV Education Course," and the free test will pop up. It's an easy test that will only take 15-30 minutes, and it's required for all off-roaders, Jeeps, SXSs, dirt bikes, and ATVs. Kids under the age of 18 will have to take the Youth Education Test at the same site. After completing the test, print out the certificate to carry with you which shows you completed the course. We have taken it, and it's really no big deal. Good reminders about trail etiquette and trail preservation.

Difficulty
The trail is steep, on a rugged mountainside, but not hard if it's dry.
