Trail Overview

This is a great trail if you want to escape into the Utah backcountry. This high alpine canyon is beautiful and rugged, high clearance only here or you will be scraping the bottom. The trail is made up of mostly volleyball-sized rocks that will make sure you take it slow and easy. The beginning of the trail has a water crossing that can be quite high in the spring, use caution when crossing. As you continue the climb along a shelf road there are two off-camber obstacles that tip toward the edge, take it slow and you will be ok. The rest of the trail continues up the bottom of the canyon with two small streams to cross, ending at a hiking trail you can take up to three alpine lakes and beautiful views.

Rocks. Lots of them. Loose baseball and some basketball size rocks.

Super beautiful trail with super cool creek crossings. The whole trail is a bunch of basketball sized rocks with some larger obstacles that are much larger and require some line choice. We only made it about 3/4 up due to time constraints but we only had one sketchy section that was a off camber part on a ledge, just make sure to go very slow on it and you will be fine.
