Trail Overview
E17 is a short segment of the Enduro Loop. The Enduro Loop is a fun ride in White Wash that in total is about a 35-mile loop, with multiple segments of single track connected by segments of dirt road. Much of the Enduro Loop is a fast desert single track, with intermediate/advanced obstacles sprinkled in. This segment in particular is mostly easy, with a harder crux on the east end where the trail goes up a steep rock ledge obstacle to climb out of the wash. It's a wide and tall blunt rock ledge that requires some technical ability to get up. There are a few rocks piled up to help get up it. There is a sand hill to the right of the rock ledge that is tempting as an easier line, but it puts you onto a narrow shelf of rock, which could be even harder. Getting up either option is pretty burly, although going down would be a lot easier (riding east to west). This crux is followed by a few more smaller slab rock ledges that are easier. The west half of the trail is much easier as well. The west half is mostly a dirt trail through an open desert on flat ground with some whoops and embedded rock or it goes through a sandy wash.
