Trail Overview

Dry Creek Road connects the Paiute ATV Trail Barney Lake to Monroe Peak on the north with the Papa Bear Poker Run 2021 Trail to the south. It's an easy trail that goes over some of the mountains down into the valleys south of Manning Reservoir. This is an area where cattle graze during the spring and summer, so watch for them on the trail. Also, watch for fresh poop piles on trails. No fun to hit those! There are spur and side trails here, both 50" and dirt bike trails, as well as some full-width. The trail will be muddy in places, especially in the spring. There are so many springs up in these mountains, in places the springs run onto trails and keep them muddy year-round. Otherwise, it's an easy trail. You see evidence of a fire that ravaged this area years ago, and in places, you can see evidence the Forest Service has been gathering downed timber and burning it. There is still a lot to gather, but the regrowth of aspen and pine trees is well underway. Don't forget, to off-road in Utah you need to have the online education course certificate and an OHV sticker.
