Trail Overview

D2703 is a short 2.8-mile out-and-back trail that is a great side trip while on the Lost World trail. This trail is not very traveled and has a portion of the trail that crosses a sandstone section that is not well marked (three rock cairns in place when traveled). There is a couple of small washes to cross that are up to 12" in depth. The turnaround point is at an overlook of a deep wash. This is an excellent location to stop for lunch when in the Lost World trail area.
