Trail Overview
This is an easy well well-maintained trail that heads up the canyon from Highway 39 through Cutoff Canyon until it reaches a gate to private Property. This trail is highly scenic with the canyon being wide and open with steeper walls with red rock outcroppings. This road stays 2 vehicles wide as it travels through the sagebrush and is taken care of, but can be a little washed out or have small ruts depending on recent rain/snow. This trail is open year-round, but depending on the amount of snow can be impassable during the winter months. This trail is an out-and-back trail, but has Cutoff Ridge trail splitting off of it that heads up to the top of the ridge and overlooks the surrounding hills, or AR11A, which leads to roads to Lewis Ridge.
