Trail Overview

This trail is unique in that you pass through so many ecosystems as you climb from the hoodoos of the desert floor into the forested region. If you connect onto the Bull Creek Pass Road or the Nasty Flat Road and into the higher elevations, you'll even end up above the treeline. The views are stunning and there are multiple points of interest to see along the way, including an old rock cabin and an old log cabin. The trail is relatively easy if you stay on the main route, however, there was one water crossing that could get a bit more hairy in the spring runoff season. Otherwise, standard SUVs can typically navigate this with ease.

Difficulty

This road is one vehicle wide, rough, and rocky in some sections. It is definitely more comfortable if you air down, but it's not necessary. There's one water crossing that can vary depending on the season.

Washout
The wash crossings are washed out due to the recent rain. Not impassable, but definitely not a 3 at the moment. More than standard high clearance is nice to not hit your underside. The photos included are not the worst of the crossings. Upper mountain did not have any issues.

This trail was in good condition. A little rocky near the end but not bad. Would not be an issue for a 4x4. We were in our Rzr.
