Trail Overview

This is a 2-mile-long 4x4 road in the Brushy Basin area near Blanding, Utah. It goes through a high desert terrain full of sagebrush and pinyon pine, and the area is full of similar Jeep trails to explore. The southern entrance is a bit hard to find because it is faint and overgrown with hardly any tracks and is narrow between the pinyon trees. It goes northeast towards Road 274, with several rocky wash crossings and loose rock sections. It eventually becomes more beat in and crosses Road 274. It becomes a shelfier road on the side of the hill, elevated above Cottonwood Creek. It also has some easy sections of rock slab and lots of ruts through the trail but is still overall easy. The hills are pretty scenic and it goes past a mine shaft.
