Trail Overview

This trail runs from the end of China Meadows and heads South past a small pond down to where the trail splits at the beginning of the trailhead campground. This trail is well maintained with only a few small potholes on the trail, with the hardest part being a shallow water crossing that can be located right at the beginning of the trail when the pond is full of water. The trail follows East Fork Smiths Fork at the beginning before heading slightly West away from the river, before turning back east and ending at the split for the campground. This trail is open year-round but may be impassable during the winter due to deep snow.
