Trail Overview

Center Creek (Ctr Cr) is an access point to the Uinta National Forest from Heber, UT. The majority of this road is Forest Service access with private property on both sides. This means that leaving the path of this trail, while outside the National Forest, may be considered trespassing. The short section of this trail that resides inside of the forest offers very limited camping. However, there are a couple of fun, but brief, off-roading sections with some small ledges and obstacles such as ruts and large-size rocks. Outside of the National Forest, the road is pretty simple - wide, single-lane gravel with some washboard sections. Watch for livestock on the road.

Difficulty

The majority of this trail is very easy, but a few sections inside of the National Forest have deep ruts, short, steep grades, and ledges that must be navigated.

Road was washboarded out like it usually is until end of county maintenance, from there it steadily got rockier and more off camber until the snow, where i turned around

Beautiful drive. Road was fairly well maintained to begin with, but had several rock gardens and heavy washboarding. - - - Once leaving the county maintenance area, the road narrowed from two car width to one, and was a bit more deteriorated with significantly more rocks, still doable, though. - - - At about 6 miles in, just over the border to the national forest, the road deteriorated significantly on a steep grade and my Subie couldn’t make it ( see last 3 pics ). The one guy I saw in a side by side made it up that, but turned around not too long after, which makes me wonder if he encountered worse. - - - If you’re in a high clearance 4x4, you could probably make it, good luck!

Deep wet snow when getting close to the National Forest border. Some vehicles with 35’s & 37’s could probably get by without issue. I was by myself on a Sunday afternoon so I decided not to press my luck.
