Well maintained and graded .First mile or so is pretty steep climb over the notch with not many places to allow room to pass others. About mile 8 and 12 there are signs posted that state beyond the end of the designated road is closed.

We had a great time, the road was easy. Take your time, there’s lots of scenery to see. The lake was beautiful and quiet. We walked about 200 yards to the water. Will do again.
