Trail Overview

This trail is a short out-and-back trail that branches off of Alexander Loop and heads to a small campsite at Alexander Lake. The trail has smaller rocks scattered throughout and a few small divots that become mudholes during wetter periods, with the hardest obstacle being the section traveling uphill, which is covered in loose rocks and has some larger rocks that must be crawled over. At the top of the climb, the trail splits, and while it appears to loop back around, both sides dead-end, with only one leading to the lake. This trail is open to all vehicles year-round but is impassable during winter and spring due to deep snow, generally from November through June.
