Trail Overview

Rhoda Branch - FS 739D runs west off Cassidy Bridge Road and follows Rhoda Branch down to a bank access on the Chauga River. This 1/10 trail is graded gravel the whole way and stays easy end to end, finishing at a wide turnaround with plenty of room to park. The stretch of river it reaches sits inside the SCDNR delayed harvest section, so from November 1 through May 14 you're limited to single hook, artificial lures with no trout in possession, and statewide regulations apply the rest of the year. That section gets stocked heavily through the fall and winter, which makes this one worth keeping in your pocket for the cold months.
