Trail Overview
WR Road - A trail of Rock Run Recreation Area. WR Road is an original trail to the park. It is a moderate trail and should be able to be traversed by anyone on bike, ATV, or SxS with some skill. This trail is .5 miles in length and is mostly dirt. You will encounter some standing water in locations with mud and some locations with loose rocks under 18 inches. It is a narrower trail with places to pass other vehicles and intersects with Trails 1, 2, and 2B, ending at the park property line at the Outer Loop. It could serve as a bypass for the Outer Loop to exit before some of the more difficult sections. While WR Road is a moderate trail, the intersecting trails all offer more difficulty, so be aware of this fact. This trail is open to bikes, ATVs, and SxSs. The trail travels through the woods and loses elevation from the beginning to the end. This is a two-way trail that offers a different experience when ridden in both directions. Trail driven and documented in June 2025.
